GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Two accused of bringing dangerous contraband into the jail

Amethyst R. McCracken, 31, of N. Lake Ave., Bergen, is charged with introducing dangerous contraband into prison 1st, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and conspiracy 5th after allegedly bringing drugs into the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main street on March 14, 2019.

McCracken was arraigned in City Court by Judge Rogers on March 23, 2019 and will re-appear in court on March 25, 2019 at 1:30p.m.

Also charged with introducing dangerous contraband into prison 1st is Aaron L. Heale, 38, of N. Lake Ave., Bergen.

Heale is also charged with conspiracy 5th and falsifying business record 1st after he allegedly conspired to have drugs brought into the Genesee County Jail.

He is currently incarcerated at the jail on unrelated charges.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will return to City Court on March 25, 2019.

Woodrow C. Horseman, 43, of Porter Ave., Batavia, is charged with 9 counts of grand larceny 4th and 1 count of petit larceny after allegedly stealing a wallet containing 9 credit cards and other personal documents without the owner’s permission on February 21, 2019 on West Main street road.

Horseman was arraigned in Batavia Town Court by Judge Williams, who remanded Horseman to the Genesee County Jail on $2,500 cash or bond bail.

He will re-appear in Batavia Town Court on April 9, 2019 at 3:30p.m.
