Investigators are looking into the cause of a garage fire at 2461 Silver Lake road in the Town of Perry on Wednesday night.
Six fire companies responded to the garage about 11:19a.m. It was owned by Shannon Bernard who discovered the blaze.
A 42’x50′ shop was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene. Three vehicles, two lawn mowers, a golf cart, a skid steer and multiple tools were lost in the fire.
The nearby house sustained some damage, but the occupants were able to remain living in the home.
Fire crews from Perry Center, Perry, Castile, Warsaw, Wyoming and Pavilion were on scene for about 4 hours. Also assisting on scene was Wyoming County Emergency services and the Sheriff’s Department.
