Mr. Batavia winner Terelle Spinks presented a check for $2,776.50 to Volunteers For Animals representative Stacy Squire.
Spinks won the two hour competition held at Batavia high School last month. He was representing Volunteers for Animals.
The student run event helps out various community organizations by raising funds.
Twelve senior contestants represented a local charity and all of the money raised from ticket sales at the event went to the winner’s charity.
Mr. Batavia raised $5,553 this year. Over the past 7 years, the Mr. Batavia event has raised over $25,000 for charities.
In second place, Sam Rigerman, representing Habitat for Humanity, presented Jaylene Smith-Kilner with a check for $1,388.25.
In third place, Griffin Della Penna, representing the Michael Napoleone Foundation, presented Laurie Napoleone with a check for $1,388.25.
