Legislator Andrew Young made a visit to the Stafford Town Board regular meeting on Monday evening to further explain several issues that are affecting towns across Genesee County.
Young represents the Towns of Stafford and Batavia.
Young explained the current tax cap issue and how it relates to the building of a new jail which NYS says needs to be built in 3 years, also how it relates to the new Raise the Age law.
Water was also discussed and why the county is asking for a 40 year agreement.
