GENESEE COUNTY/Stafford/Don’t lose your four corners to the Quicky Mart

The Stafford Historical Society invited Julian Adams, Director of Bureau of Community Preservation Services with NYS, to speak to local residents about the importance of community icon preservation and how historic preservation can enhance property values in your local community.

Also on hand at the presentation was Cynthia Howk, Architectural Researcher with the Rochester Landmark Society who added some interesting color commentating on the subject.

Her advice was to fill up your tank with gas and be a tourist in your own community, while Adams stressed the importance of not losing your four corners to the Quicky Mart.

Some good advise for the everyday citizen on how you can be the difference in historic preservation.
