BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/East Main street man charged in burglary

Paul C. Wapniewski, 63, of East Main St., Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd and petit larceny after allegedly entering another tenants room on East Main street and stealing money on April 25, 2019.

Wapniewski was arraigned in City Court and held without bail. He will re-appear in City Court on May 2, 2019 at 11:00a.m.

Heidi L. Harder, 43, of Montclair Ave., Batavia, is charged with introducing contraband/prison 2nd after she was arrested on an unrelated charge on April 16, 2019.

Harder was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia upon arrival at the jail while being searched by a jail deputy.

She was arraigned in City Court on April 23, 2019 and remanded to the jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or bond bail.

Peter M. Glick, 21, of Woodward Ave., Buffalo, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, speed in a zone and moving from a lane unsafely after a traffic stop on Ellicott street on April 13, 2019.

Glick was processed and released and will appear in City Court on May 1, 2019 at 9:00a.m.

Donald M. Maskell III, 28, of Cook Rd., Byron, is charged with DWI and no headlights after a traffic stop on Jefferson Square on April 28, 2019 at 2:11a.m.

Maskell was processed and is to appear in City Court on May 8, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Virginia A. Marks, 40, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after a shoplifting investigation at Dollar General at 412 East Main street on April 26, 2019.

Marks was issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear in City Court on April 30, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
