Lisa L. Lyons, 42, of Alexander Rd., Attica, was arrested and charged with two counts of misconduct in relation to petitions.
Lyons allegedly subscribed as a witness to a petition for the designation of herself as the Republican candidate for the upcoming Town Clerk of Alexander position.
The incident occurred on April 1, 2019.
It is alleged that Lyons did not witness all signatures of the filed petition, thereby making a false statement or affidavit.
She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 21, 2019 at 1:30p.m.
