Jose J. Santiago-Burgos, 30, of Covington, was arrested following a domestic dispute at a residence on Morrow Road in the Town of Covington May 4, 2019.
Santiago-Burgos is charged with assault 2nd after it was determined he struck a victim in the face with a cell phone causing physical injury.
Santiago-Burgos was taken into custody without incident and further charged with aggravated family offence due to a prior domestic violence criminal conviction in the preceding 5 years, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful imprisonment 2nd.
Santiago-Burgos was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where he was remanded to Jail on $7,500 cash bail and $15,000 bond bail.
The New York State Police and Medic 80 also assisted at the scene.
