Richard L. Bailey, 63, of Thorpe St., Batavia, is charged with menacing 2nd, criminal possession of a weapon 4th and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with what appeared to be a handgun on Thorpe street on April 25, 2019 at 7:09p.m.
According to police, Bailey was involved in a disturbance when the threat was allegedly made.
Bailey was arraigned in City Court on April 26, 2019 at 9:30a.m. and was jailed without bail.
He re-appeared in court on April 29, 2019.
William G. Schultz, 45, of Maple St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass 2nd after entering and remaining unlawfully at a dwelling on Evans street on April 21, 2019.
Schultz was arraigned in City Court on May 1, 2019 and was jailed in lieu of $2,500 cash or bond bail.
Upon intake at the jail, Schultz was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and introducing contraband into prison 2nd. On these charges he was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in court on May 7, 2019.
Ashley B. Farrell, 33, of Summit St., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large and unlicensed dog after her two dogs were allegedly running at large on Summit street on April 21, 2019 at 3:08p.m.
The dogs were also unlicensed according to police.
Farrell was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 14, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Samantha R. Jones, 34, of Oak St., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large following an incident where her dog allegedly ran onto another person’s property without a leash on Oak street at May 1, 2019 at 5:45p.m.
Jones was issued and appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 14, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
April M. Palmer, 33, of Lake St., LeRoy, is charged with petit larceny following a shoplifting complaint at Dollar General at 412 East Main street on May 3, 2019 at 3:52p.m.
Palmer was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 14, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Anthony L. Rice, 26, of Post Ave., Rochester, NY, was arrested by the NYS Police on a City of Batavia City Court bench warrant regarding traffic offenses which he failed to appear in court for.
Rice was turned over to Batavia Police and was processed and held at the jail on $1,000 bail/bond.
Rice appeared in court on May 7, 2019.
Robert V. Howard Jr., 66, of Lockport Olcott road, Lockport, NY, was arrested by the NYS Police on vehicle and traffic violations in Niagara County and was turned over to Batavia Police on a bench warrant.
Howard Jr. was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $500.00 cash or bond bail. He re-appeared in court on May 6, 2019.
