STATE POLICE/Warsaw/Brockport man arrested for DWAI-drugs

On May 19, 2019, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Adam R. Hoffman, 35, of Brockport, NY, for Driving while ability impaired by drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana

Troopers out of SP Warsaw initiated a traffic stop for an improperly flagged load on a vehicle on State Route 246, town of Perry. 

While interviewing the operator, Troopers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from Hoffman’s vehicle.  Troopers administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests and determined Hoffman was impaired by drugs. 

Troopers arrested Hoffman for Driving while ability impaired by drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana .  He was transported to SP Warsaw and was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department. 

He was processed and released on appearance tickets.  Hoffman is to appear in the town of Perry Court on June 12, 2019 at 6:00PM.
