160 participants, elementary students and their families, participated in the 2nd Annual Color Run at the Alexander Elementary School on Saturday morning.
The one mile course included 6 color stations and was run by 35 volunteers and was created by the Alexander PTA to get kids and their families active together.
“Its all about wellness and getting kids active while creating a community with the school,” says Allison Porter/Organizer/4th grade teacher.
The kids were able to enjoy some snacks, music and were given souvenir sunglasses and headbands afterwards.
