Undersheriff Christopher Bourke reports that on May 29, 2019, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office responded to Platten Road in Lyndonville for a reported two car accident.
Upon arrival, deputies observed one vehicle crashed into a tree and another on the shoulder of the road near the first.
During the investigation of the motor vehicle accident, it is alleged that Bryan Babcock, 29, of Lyndonville, was westbound and crossed over lanes and struck another vehicle.
Several hypodermic syringes and baggies containing a white powder were recovered from Babcock.
Babcock was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, and possession of a hypodermic instrument. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Yates Court.
