PERRY POLICE REPORT/Woman facing charges after traffic stop

On June 24, 2019, following a traffic stop in the Village of Perry, Karissa K. Sardina, 36, of Perry, was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended registration while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

Sardina also had a conditional license from a prior driving while ability impaired by alcohol conviction in March of 2019. 

She was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operating of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, driving while ability impaired by alcohol, operating in violation of license conditions, refusal to take a breath test, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Sardina was released on appearance tickets and is due to appear in the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
