LEROY POLICE REPORT/Bergen man charged after allegedly driving erratically

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 59 year old Ross Miller of Rochester Street, Bergen on July 3, 2019, charging him with one count each of DWI, operating a motor vehicle with .08% BAC or more, failure to keep right, failure to use designated lane and illegal signal less than 100 feet from turn. 

It is alleged that Miller was stopped by the on duty LeRoy Patrol after being observed operating erratically and failing to maintain lane.  A subsequent investigation deemed Miller to be allegedly intoxicated, he was ticketed and released.

The LeRoy Police Department arrested 47 year old Samuel N. Sciascia of Dewey Ave., Rochester, and charged him with four counts of criminal possession a controlled substance 7th degree, one count of criminal possession of burglar tools and one count of criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. 

The arrest stems from a complaint of suspicious activity at the Tops parking lot on West Main Street in LeRoy.  Upon arrival of the LeRoy Patrol, Sciascia was allegedly found in possession of multiple different types of controlled substances along with a crack pipe and hypodermic needles and a vehicle access tool used to enter locked vehicles. 

Sciascia was arraigned before the Hon. D. Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court and committed to the Genesee County jail in lieu of bail.
