Kayla M. Yglesias, 19, of Fisher Rd., Oakfield is charged with falsifying business records 1st, falsely reporting an incident to law enforcement 3rd, operator leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from a lane unsafely, failure to report a property damage accident and unlicensed operator after an alleged motor vehicle accident in the Town of Oakfield on June 22, 2019 at 3:45a.m.
Yglesias allegedly left the scene of the accident and then reported the vehicle she was driving stolen to deputies and falsified information on a supporting deposition.
On July 3, 2019, deputies recovered the vehicle which was found submerged in a body of water in the Town of Byron.
Yglesias was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Oakfield Town Court on July 29, 2019 at 6:00p.m.
Also charged in the incident is Adam M. Kreutz, 30, of Franklin St., Batavia.
He is charged with falsifying business records 1st for allegedly providing false information in a supporting deposition to allegedly try and conceal another crime that was committed.
Kretz was arraigned in the Town of Oakfield Court and was held without bail and re-appeared in Oakfield Town Court on July 8, 2019.
