Teresa Bush, 44, of Fillmore, NY, was arrested by the Perry Police Department following a traffic stop on Lake Street on July 23, 2019.
It is alleged that Bush was operating her vehicle while she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol while having multiple suspensions/revocations.
Bush is charged with DWI (alcohol), DWAI by drugs, DWAI by drugs combo and Aggravated unlicensed operation in the 1st degree, all felonies. Bush, who also had multiple suspensions/revocations on her revoked license from a DWI she was convicted of in 2016, was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree (two counts), aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree, no interlock device, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Bush was arraigned in front of the Honorable Judge McClurg in the Town of Castile Court. The District Attorney’s Office was contacted for a bail recommendation, which they recommended $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Bush was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
On July 19th, 2019, at around 2:16a.m., Andrew J. Faryna, 40, of Perry, was arrested after a short vehicle chase and physical altercation with police.
At around 2:10a.m., Officer Harding attempted to stop Faryna for vehicle and traffic violations that occurred on Walker Road and when Faryna failed to comply, he continued to drive to his residence.
After stopping the vehicle at the residence, Officer Harding suspected Faryna was under the influence and requested Faryna to perform field sobriety testing. One of Faryna’s dogs was outside and while attempting to walk the dog back towards the residence, Faryna attempted to flee into his residence. A physical altercation took place in the doorway of the residence and Officers Harding and Truax were able to take Faryna into custody.
Faryna was processed and charged with failure to keep right, speed in zone, failure to signal, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to comply with a lawful order, felony DWI – previous conviction within 10 years, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, and criminal mischief 4th – disable emergency radio equipment.
The District Attorney’s Office was contacted for a bail recommendation and they requested $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Faryna was transported to the Town of Warsaw Court for arraignment in front of the Honorable Judge Fusani, along with the Public Defender’s Office being present to represent Faryna. Faryna was remanded to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry court at a later date.
