Rachael G. Ezzezew, 26, of Bronze Leaf Trail, Greece, NY, is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly operating a vehicle while distracted by an electronic device and failed to stop at stop sign on Byron Holley road in Byron on July 23, 2019 at 4:16p.m.
Ezzezew was also allegedly in possession of marijuana and two different controlled substances in the car she was operating. Her license was also suspended. Ezzezew will appear in Byron Town Court on August 13, 2019 at 5:00p.m.
Ricardo Sampel, 50, of Dellinger Ave., Batavia, is charged with aggravated Family Offense, more than one offense within 5 years(5 counts), after a report of a violation of an order of protection by a third party.
Following an investigation, Sampel was identified and allegedly committed the crime of criminal contempt 2nd after knowingly violating an order of protection by contacting the protected party via phone.
Due to previous criminal history, including criminal contempt convictions, the charge was elevated to a class E felony.
Sampel, who is currently being held at the Genesee County Jail on a separate criminal contempt charge, was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail due to previous felony convictions.
The investigation was assisted by Correctional Officers at the Genesee County Jail including Senior Correctional Officer J.M. Smart.
Jennifer J. Greene, 46, of Tennyson Ter. Williamsville, NY, is charged with criminal contempt of court 2nd after a violation of an order of protection complaint on July 7, 2019 at 4:45p.m.
On July 23, 2019, after an investigation, Greene was arrested and charged after allegedly making personal contact with a protected party of a stay away order of protection.
Greene was arraigned in the Town of Darien Court and released on her own recognizance and will re-appear in court on July 30, 2019 at 3:00p.m.
