For the first time, National Night Out was held at a more central location in the City of Batavia.
St. Anthony’s was packed with kids and their families who came out to eat, play games and have fun while checking out City Fire demonstrations, Deputy Erion and K9 Frankie, meet the GCSO Police Emergency Response Team, NYSP seatbelt vehicle demo, Wyoming County Mounted Patrol horses and the popular dunk tank where you could dunk the City Manager, and members of the Police and Fire Departments.
“We wanted a central location so everyone in the City could attend,” says Councilperson Kathy Briggs.
“We wanted something positive for the neighborhood, I am very excited about this.”
