WYOMING COUNTY/Cheektowaga woman charged during a “Stop DWI” crackdown detail

Brittany A. Balser, 30, of Cheektowaga was arrested for DWI during a specialized Crackdown STOP DWI patrol on Rt. 98 in Java on August 25, 2019.

Balser was stopped by deputies when she was observed speeding, crossing the center lines of the roadway along with the white fog line numerous times.

A roadside investigation along with field sobriety testing was completed and Balser was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to the Arcade Police Department where she supplied a breath sample over the legal limit of 0.08%.

Balser is charged with speeding, driving across hazard markings, failure to keep right, DWI, and driving with a BAC of .08 or more.

She was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Java Court on September 18th, 2019.
