In the 88th match up, and one of the best rivalries in Section 5, the LeRoy Knights defeated Cal-Mum/BB 20-6.
With the score in favor of LeRoy, 13-6, after the first quarter a great defensive battle went on for most of the game. With about 6 minutes remaining, the Knights broke the game wide open as Andrew Englerth busted through the Red Raider defense and was off to the races into the endzone to seal the win for LeRoy making it 20-6 .
Cal-Mum/BB threatened afterwards with a great punt return. On 4th down, Red Raider quarterback Joseph Laursen attempted to pass to Vincent Molisani for the first down in the red zone, but the ball was batted away by the LeRoy defense.
Nate Andrews and Andrew Englerth scored the first two TDs in the first quarter for LeRoy.
Bryce Yockel had the TD for Cal-Mum/BB.
