WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Ohio man charged after driving his vehicle into a ditch in Arcade

Elmer Brown, Jr., 66, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested following a traffic complaint on Curriers Road in the Town of Arcade on September 22, 2019.

Brown drove his vehicle into the ditch on Curriers Road, and after an investigation several consumed containers of Methadone were found within the vehicle.

Brown failed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody.

Following a Drug Influence Evaluation at Arcade PD, Brown was found to be impaired by drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Brown is charged with DWAI/drugs and moving from lane unsafely.

He was arraigned in the Town of Java Court where bail was set at $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 bond. Brown is scheduled to return to the Town of Arcade Court on October 10, 2019 for further proceedings.

Robert G. Robb, 46, of Perry, is charged with operation with a suspended registration and operation without insurance following a traffic stop on Olin Avenue in the Village of Perry on September 20, 2019.

The vehicle Robb was operating was found to have been suspended for lack of insurance. A passenger, Kelly Everts, who was the owner of the vehicle, was charged with permitting operation without insurance.

Both were released with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Perry Court on October 1, 2019.

Following a report of an intoxicated male at the Dale Cemetery in the Town of Middlebury the following arrests were made;

Aaron Veideffer, 41, of Warsaw, was placed under arrest for criminal mischief 4th, disorderly conduct, obstruction of governmental administration 2nd and exposure of a person.

Veideffer was transported to the Middlebury Town Court by Deputy Harding for arraignment. He was arraigned in front of Judge A. Strathearn and was released on recognizance with a return court date of September 16, 2019.

Jayson Connolly, 45, of Gainesville, is charged with obstruction of governmental administration 2nd and reckless driving. Connolly was released on appearance tickets and is to appear on October 21, 2019 to answer the charges.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephen Noki Nimako, 27, of Bronx, NY, following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on September 18, 2019 for aggravated unlicensed operation 1st.

Deputies on patrol observed a vehicle pass the patrol unit failing to dim their high beams as required. A vehicle stop was conducted and during the investigation it was discovered that Nimako was currently suspended with 22 active suspensions on his license.

Nimako was arrested and issued citations for failing to reduce high beams and aggravated unlicensed operation 1st. He was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court in front of Judge Bogert and committed to jail on $1,000 cash/ $5,000 bond. Nimako is to return to court on November 6, 2019.
