It was the battle of the unbeatens in 8 man football at Pembroke’s homecoming on Friday night, as the Dragons met a tough hitting OAE team.
At the end of a scoreless first quarter, OAE, taking advantage of a high snap that traveled into the endzone, quarterback David Colby coughed up the ball and OAE’s defense pounced on it for a safety, scoring the first 2 points of the game.
At the half that was the score, 2-0 OAE.
In the third quarter, OAE’s Ty Mott turned up the speed and scored two TD’s while Colton Dillion added two more points in a conversion play.
During the 4th quarter both teams went scoreless, OAE comes out on top 16-0 and remains undefeated. Pembroke is now 2-1.
