On October 5, 2019, deputies responded to a residence on Route 20A in the Town of Perry, after receiving a report of a domestic incident where the suspect had allegedly thrown the victim across the room and stole the victim’s phone, preventing them from calling 911. The victim left the scene and fled to another residence.
After speaking with the victim, Deputies and State Police responded to the scene of the incident in an attempt to locate the suspect, Adam G. Webster, 24, of Dansville, NY.
After searching the residence and the nearby area, Webster was located and taken into custody. He was arrested and charged with robbery 3rd, grand larceny 4th/ stealing property from another person, criminal mischief 4th/ preventing request for emergency assistance, criminal mischief 4th/ intentionally damage property, harassment 2nd/ physical contact, criminal contempt of court 1st/ violate order of protection/physical contact, criminal contempt of court 1st/ prior conviction of criminal contempt in last 5 years, and aggravated family offense.
Webster was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Perry Court at a later date.
On October 15, 2019, deputies were patrolling southbound on Route 39 in the Town of Pike when a vehicle was observed parked on the shoulder of the roadway with it’s lights on.
Deputies stopped to ensure everything was okay and the driver stated they were having some vehicle issue, but had a tow on the way. Deputies then performed a data check on the vehicle’s registration and the driver, who was identified as Englund A. Horgan, 24, of Corning, NY.
It was discovered that Horgan had three active suspensions on three separate dates and Horgan was placed under arrest for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree.
Horgan was transported to the Town of Eagle Court for an arraignment.
A representative from the Public Defender’s Office was present to represent Horgan. Horgan was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $2,000 bond and is due to appear in the Town of Pike Court at a later date.
On October 12, 2019, at approximately 12:35a.m., Earl J. Perry, 44, of Sheldon, allegedly stole flowers from a garden on Meadow Lane.
The homeowner witnessed Perry taking the flowers and ran after him.
Perry fled the scene in a vehicle and was later apprehended following an investigation by Wyoming County Sheriffs Deputies. He is charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief 4th.
Perry was released with appearance tickets and is to appear in Sheldon Town Court for arraignment at a later date.
