Robbie K. W. Nilsson, 30, of Scottsville, and Joanne E. Orosz, 36, of Geneseo, were arrested at Letchworth Central School during a non-school related event on November 2, 2019.
Nilsson and Orosz were attending a youth event at the facility when school was not in session, and during the event Nilsson and Orosz were caught by event staff smoking marijuana inside their vehicle in the parking lot.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and seized a plastic container with marijuana inside of it from within the vehicle. Nilsson and Orosz were both issued appearance tickets for the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd, and they are scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Gainesville Court on November 18, 2019.
No children were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. With help of event staff, children who had arrived with Nilsson and Orosz were sent home with separate parties.
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Keshav Kunadia, 54, of Clifton, NJ, following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on October 31, 2019.
Deputies observed Kunadia attempt to pass a vehicle in a no passing zone.
During the stop it was discovered that Kunadia had a revoked license in New York State for operating an uninsured out of state motor vehicle while involved in an accident.
Kunadia was arrested and issued citations for interfering with safe operation, passing in a no passing zone and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd.
Kunadia is to answer the charges on November 18, 2019 in the Town of Sheldon court.
On October 26, 2019, at around 11:45p.m., deputies were patrolling southbound on Route 77 in the Town of Java, when a vehicle was observed with an expired inspection from March 31, 2019.
A traffic stop was initiated on Route 98 in Java Center, and after making contact with the driver, Denice Redmond,41, of Olean, NY, a roadside DWI investigation was initiated.
Following the roadside investigation, Redmond was arrested and charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, uninspected motor vehicle, unlicensed operator, refusal to take breath test, and open container.
Redmond was arraigned in the Town of Java Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Redmond is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
Caleb M. Decker-Chrisler, 25, of Bath, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on Jordan Road at East Road in the Town of Gainesville on November 2, 2019.
Decker-Chrisler was stopped for having a suspended registration, and Decker-Chrisler was then found to be operating the vehicle alone with only a learner’s permit.
Decker-Chrisler is charged with operating with a suspended registration and unlicensed operator. Decker-Chrisler was issued traffic citations for the charges, released to a third party, and scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Gainesville Court on November 18, 2019.
