ORLEANS COUNTY/Albion man jailed without bail on felony drug charges

ON JANUARY 28, 2020, AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF CRACK COCAINE IN THE VILLAGE OF ALBION, N.Y., THE ORLEANS COUNTY MAJOR FELONY CRIME TASK FORCE ALONG WITH THE ALBION POLICE DEPT., EXECUTED A SEARCH WARRANT AT 213 SOUTH MAIN ST. IN THE VILLAGE OF ALBION AND ARRESTED AN INDIVIDUAL ON NUMEROUS DRUG CHARGES.

POLICE ARRESTED:

· YEHUDAH DAVIS, AGE 48, OF 213 SOUTH MAIN ST. ROOM 10, ALBION, N.Y. HE IS CHARGED WITH:

4 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL SALE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONIES).

5 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONIES).

DAVIS WAS ARRAIGNED IN THE TOWN OF ALBION JUSTICE COURT, BY THE HON. GARY MOORE. DAVIS WAS COMMITTED TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY JAIL ON NO BAIL DUE TO HIS PREVIOUS CRIMINAL HISTORY, HE WILL APPEAR IN FRONT OF ORLEANS COUNTY COURT JUDGE, THE HON. SANFORD CHURCH FOR A FURTHER COURT PROCEEDING AT A LATER DATE.

THE ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT. ALSO ASSISTED THE TASK FORCE AND THE ALBION POLICE DEPT.

THIS INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING, FURTHER CHARGES AND ARRESTS ARE PENDING.
