On February 7, 2020, Daniel J. Lewis, 24, no permanent address, was arrested and charged with 5 counts of criminal possession of stolen property 4th and 2 counts of criminal possession of stolen property 5th.
The arrest is in connection with numerous thefts from vehicles in the Town of Stafford on January 28, 2020.
Lewis was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to be arraigned in Stafford Town Court on February 13, 2020.
He is currently being held in the Genesee County jail on previous incidents. He has been there since January 29, 2020.
The Stafford incidents are being investigated by Inv. Chad Minuto, Deputy Austin Heberlein, Deputy Ryan DeLong, Deputy Brock Cummins, Deputy James Stack, Deputy Chris Erion and Trooper Hersee with the NYS Police.
