BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Hutchins street man charged with rape, Pringle avenue man charged with burglary

Adrian R. Laird, 18, of Hutchins St., Batavia, is charged with rape 2nd, a class D felony, after an incident on Hutchins street on January 10, 2020.

Laird was arraigned in City Court on February 10, 2020 and released under conditions of the court. He will re-appear in City Court on February 13, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Gregory Seppe, 61, of Pringle Ave., Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd, a class C felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, after he allegedly pushed his way into a residence on State street attempting to sell drugs. Seppe then refused to leave the residence, being asked multiple times by the tenants.

Seppe was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 13, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Alexis V. Finnin, 31, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child less than 17, following an investigation into an incident on East Main street on September 14, 2019 at 8:38p.m.

Finnin is accused of being intoxicated/impaired to the point of not being able to adequately supervise a five year old child, subjecting the child to risk of physical, mental and moral harm.

Finnin was released on an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on February 11, 2020.

Michelle L. Sahr, 52, of N. Main St., Albion, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of City Court after she was located by Albion Police during an unrelated matter on February 7, 2020.

Sahr was charged with harassment 2nd on December 8, 2019.

Sahr was processed at the Batavia Police Department and released on an appearance ticket. She is due in court on February 13, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Debra L. Mattoon, 40, of Batavia Oakfield Townline Rd., Oakfield, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise from Tops at 390 West Main street on February 7, 2020 at 4:00p.m.

Mattoon was arrested and released on an appearance ticket.

She will appear in City Court on February 18, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
