Christopher M. Sims, 31, of Manhattan Ave., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI(previous conviction within 10 years), parked on a highway, uninspected motor vehicle and refusal to take a breath test following a traffic stop on Dublin road in the Town of Bethany on February 14, 2020 at 5:46a.m.
Sims was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol after being found unresponsive, parked in the roadway.
Sims was processed at the Genesee County Jail and released on appearance tickets.
Thomas J. Leonard, 36, homeless, is charged with falsifying business records, a felony, petit larceny and conspiracy 6th, following the execution of an arrest warrant.
The arrest warrant was issued following an investigation into a larceny that occurred at Wal-Mart in the Town of Batavia. Leonard allegedly stole property that belonged to Wal-Mart and then pawned the property at the Pawn King pawn shop.
While at the pawn shop, Leonard allegedly falsified business records while attempting to pawn stolen property. He was arrested on February 13, 2020 and was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released on his own recognizance.
Leonard is scheduled to re-appear in court on March 17, 2020 at 2:00p.m.
The case is being investigated by Deputy Kyle Krzemien. The arrest was made by Deputy Erik Andre with the assistance of Batavia Police Officer Christopher Lindsey.
Kyle C. Madden, 26, of Lake St., LeRoy, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance during an investigation of an unrelated matter.
Madden was released with an appearance ticket and is due in LeRoy Town Court on February 20, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
