GENESEE COUNTY/Republican candidates running for office meet in Batavia

Seven Republican Candidates running for office met in Batavia on Saturday morning to circulate petitions and speak to about 70 people who showed up to hear what the candidates had to say.

State GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy stopped by to say a few words and to discuss the importance of each race.

State Senator Chris Jacobs, Erie Co. Legislator Ed Rath, and Sheriff William Sheron Jr. spoke to the crowd about issues while Assemblyman Steve Hawley served as the MC. Other candidates on hand were County Treasurer Scott German, who is running unopposed and County Coronor Candidates Karen Lang and Adam Palumbo
