GENESEE COUNTY/Byron Fire Department celebrates 100 years at their annual banquet and installation dinner

The Byron Fire Department celebrated 100 years at their annual Banquet and Installation Dinner at Terry Hills on Saturday night.

Assemblyman Steve Hawley was on hand to present a Citation to Chief Bob Mruzcek.

The department responded to 215 calls for service, 148 of them were EMS calls. Over 1500 manhours total for 2019 and about 1400 training hours.
