WYOMING COUNTY/Perry man jailed after domestic incident

Jeffrey J. Matson, 44, of Perry, was arrested following a domestic incident on Oatka Road in the Town of Perry on March 7, 2020.

Matson is alleged to have violated an order of protection during a domestic incident by pushing a female victim, taking her phone to prevent an emergency phone call to police, and committing these acts in the presence of a five year old child.

Matson was arrested and charged with one count of each of the following:

Criminal Contempt in the First Degree

Aggravated Family Offense

Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree

Harassment in the Second Degree

Matson was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court where he was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 cash bail, $5,000.00 bond, or $10,000.00 partially secured bond.

Matson is scheduled for further court action in the Town of Perry Court on May 13, 2020 at 4:30p.m.
