The Old Paths Chapel in Perry will be having their Sunday service at the Charcoal Corral/Silver Lake Drive In Theatre at 7037 Chapman road this Sunday at 11:00am.
“I had a prayer meeting in my office with the leadership of Old Paths Chapel in which we asked God for wisdom how to minister to our church that we are somewhat isolated from at the moment,” said Pastor Jeff Guesno.
“Then God gave a church member from Caledonia a vision/dream. In the dream I asked if we could use the drive in for services. We believe this is the way God showed us how to congregate and isolate at the same time, a true answer to prayer.”
Guesno says he is grateful to Rick Stefanon who owns the Silver Lake Drive In Theatre.
“He has been an amazing blessing to us and our community by allowing us this opportunity and helping us make this happen. We will be able share Gods word and worship while maintaining what’s asked of us by law and remain compliant to local laws and authorities. The health of people is of the upmost importance to us.”
