BATAVIA/Rochester Regional Health(UMMC) adds extensions of Primary Care Services

Press release

Rochester Regional Health added tents at three locations this week as an extension of primary care services.

The sites are designed to keep patients and individuals safe while decreasing the potential of exposure to COVID-19. Patients will be evaluated for medical issues, not just for COVID-19 testing.

·       Locations:

o   Unity Hospital: Open 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

o   Clifton Springs: Open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

o   United Memorial Medical Center: Open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

*Patients are still urged to call their PCP before coming to the locations.*

This is a multi-tent “drive-thru” system set up to support our primary care, urgent care and hospital system in a manner that allows for social distancing, thereby reducing the risk of further community spread.  We continue to stress that if patients are sick and experiencing symptoms they contact their primary care provider first.

Our site provides the following:

o   general patient evaluation

o   evaluation of potential COVID-19 patients

Hours are 9 am – 5 pm, seven days a week
