WYOMING COUNTY/25 positive cases of COVID-19 reported

Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis, reports:

As of earlier today, Tuesday, April 7th, Wyoming County Health Department reports twenty-five (25) lab confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents.

Northwest (Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 4 positive cases, 2 recoveries, 0 deaths

Southwest (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 3 positive cases, 1 recovery, 0 deaths

Southeast (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 5 positive cases, 2 recoveries, 0 deaths

Northeast (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 12 positive cases, 5 recoveries, 1 death

Other* 1 positive case, 1 recovery, 0 deaths. *There is 1 case residing in another location, now recovered

TOTAL– 25 positive cases, 11 recoveries, 1 death
