WYOMING COUNTY/COVID-19 Update/Two more positive cases reported

April 29, 2020 @ 2:00 p.m.

Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis, reports:

As of earlier today, Wednesday, April 29, the Wyoming County Health Department reports sixty-six (66) lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents. This is an increase of two (2) cases from Tuesday, April 28.

Northwest (*Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 22 positive cases, 13 recoveries.

Southwest (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 11 positive cases, 7 recoveries

Southeast (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 15 positive cases, 9 recoveries

Northeast (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 18 positive cases, 10 recoveries, 5 deaths.

TOTAL 66 positive cases, 39 recoveries, 5 deaths

(*Two (2) of the cases reported in the Northwest Quadrant are attributed to the Attica Correctional Facility.)
