Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis, reports:
As of earlier today, Tuesday, May 5, the Wyoming County Health Department reports sixty-nine (69) lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents. There are no additional cases from Monday, May 4th.
Northwest (*Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 24 positive cases, 21 recoveries
Southwest (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 12 positive cases, 8 recoveries.
Southeast (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 15 positive cases, 14 recoveries.
Northeast (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 18 positive cases, 11 recoveries, 5 deaths.
TOTAL- 69 positive cases, 54 recovered, 5 deaths
(*Two (2) of the cases reported in the Northwest Quadrant are attributed to the Attica Correctional Facility)
