WYOMING COUNTY/COVID-19 Update/No new cases to report

Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, Jerry L. Davis, reports:

As of earlier today, Wednesday, May 13, the Wyoming County Health Department reports seventy-four (74) lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents. There is no increase from Tuesday, May 12.

Re-Start Wyoming Task Force created

Wyoming County Board of Supervisors’ Chairman, Jerry L. Davis has created a Re-Start Wyoming Task Force which has begun meeting and working toward a countywide strategy and developing a plan to manage the next steps in the recovery and restart process. More information will be provided in the near future as it becomes available.

Northwest (Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 26 positive cases, 24 recoveries.

Southwest (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 12 positive cases, 12 recoveries.

Southeast (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 15 positive cases, 15 recoveries.

Northeast (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 21 12 5

TOTAL– 74 positive cases, 63 recoveries, 5 deaths.

(*Two (2) of the cases reported in the Northwest Quadrant are attributed to the Attica Correctional Facility.)
