Marcus J. Bennett, 44, of Bloomingdale Rd., Alabama, is charged with attempted assault 2nd, menacing 2nd, criminal impersonation 2nd and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use after a physical altercation during a reported disturbance on Bloomingdale road on May 19, 2020 at 7:36p.m.
Bennett allegedly pulled a knife on the victim, causing the victim to be in fear. After patrols arrived on scene, Bennett allegedly gave a false name to deputies.
Bennett was turned over to NYS Parole on multiple outstanding warrants.
Also charged, Shannon M. Armstead, 27, of Bloomingdale Rd., Alabama. She is charged with menacing 2nd and harassment 2nd.
Armstead was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Alabama Court on June 10, 2020 at 6:00p.m.
Andreseaga A. Arteaga, 22, of Harvester Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, meth with intent to sell, a class B felony, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, DWAI/drugs, previous conviction, a class E felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and use of a vehicle without an interlock device, following a traffic stop investigation in the Village of LeRoy on Lake street on May 18, 2020 at 7:40a.m.
Arteaga was also arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving to the left of pavement markings and failing to signal while turning.
Deputies say a firearm and narcotics were allegedly found in the vehicle.
Arteaga was arraigned in Genesee County Court and released to Genesee Justice. He will re-appear in court on July 1, 2020 at 2:00p.m.
