GENESEE COUNTY/Sheriff’s Office investigating a serious injury accident

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious injury one car accident that occurred in the area of 6776 Byron Holley road in the Town of Byron on Sunday night.

Emergency crews arrived on scene at 8:16p.m. and observed a white Honda Civic into a utility pole. There were two occupants inside the vehicle.

The operator, Jason L. Pullen, 35, of Leicester, NY, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Strong Hospital via Mercy Flight.

A passenger, Sabrina L. Lovell, 32, of Clarendon, NY, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Strong Hospital via ground ambulance.

The 2003 Honda Civic was traveling south on Byron Holley road when it left its lane of travel and crossed over the center line and continued off the east shoulder of the road. The Civic then struck a utility pole on the passenger side where it came to rest.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
