BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Walnut street woman charged after striking a person with a shoe and kicking them

Destiny N. Green, 23, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd/physical contact, after allegedly subjecting another person in her household with unwanted physical contact by striking them with a shoe and then kicking them repeatedly.

The incident occurred on May 23, 2020.

Green was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court on July 22, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Daniel R. Yates, 50, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large after his two dogs escaped from his home on May 19, 2020.

After the dogs escaped, police say a person was bit by one of the dogs.

Yates was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 21, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Corey A. Brown, 34, of Highland Park, Batavia, is charged with petit larceny following an investigation into a stolen bicycle on Highland Park on April 22, 2020.

Brown was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 14, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Alicia M. Lyons, 40, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole property at Kwik Fill at 99 Jackson street on May 21, 2020.

After a brief interview with police , Lyons produced the stolen property and turned it over to officers.

Lyons was then arrested and issued an appearance ticket and then released.

She is scheduled to appear in City Court on June 16, 2020 at 1:30p.m.

James W. Shute, 37, of Humphrey St., Warsaw, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd for violating a court order of protection on May 16, 2020.

Shute was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 28, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
