BATAVIA/Restaurant owners discuss Phase 3 opening

Dining area at Bourbon and Burger today

Restaurant owners are now able to open their dining areas to customers as of today in the NYS Phase 3 opening.

Derek Geib, owner of Bourbon and Burger, Romans and the Coffee Press says his restaurants have been offering take out and delivery over the last few months, and as of today indoor dining is now allowed .

Romans opened a week early because of the large patio that is perfect for a social distancing set up. We met up with him today at Bourbon and Burger to discuss what some of the guidelines will be for indoor dining.

John Kratz, owner/operator Eat Well Grill inside Eli Fish, says his restaurant has a loyal group of customers who have been using Door Dash to order healthy meals from Eat Well Grill. He says he is thankful for those supporters along with the guidance offered from BID, GCEDC, BDC and the Chamber of Commerce during this challenging time.

Eat Well Grill will be celebrating their first year in business in a few weeks. We caught up with John as he and wife Jill were serving their first customers in the Phase 3 reopening today.
