WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT

David Kamanzi, 21, of Buffalo, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on June 12, 2020.

Kamanzi was stopped for a vehicle and traffic infraction.

During investigation, it was learned that Kamanzi had a suspended driver’s license in New York State for failing to answer a summons.

Kamanzi is charged with speed in zone, unlicensed operator and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Sheldon Court on June 29, 2020 at 6:30PM.

Lajharae L Davis, 27, of Tonawanda, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 63 in the Town of Covington on June 12, 2020.

Davis was stopped for speeding and failed to keep right.

Following a roadside investigation, which included field sobriety testing, Davis was placed under arrest for DWI.

Davis was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where she supplied a breath sample that was over the legal limit of .08%.

Davis is charged with speeding, failure to keep right, DWI, driving with BAC of .08 or more, unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second-degree and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree as Davis was suspended for a prior alcohol related offense.

Davis was released to a sober third party and will appear in the Town of Covington Court on June 29, 2020.

Following a traffic stop in the Village of Arcade on June 12, 2020, Luke A. Welker, 28, of Sardinia, the driver of the vehicle, was found to allegedly be in possession of marijuana and marijuana smoking paraphernalia.

Welker is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and operating with insufficient tail light.

Welker was released with an appearance ticket and is to appear in Arcade Village Court on June 25, 2020.
