On July 20, 2020 at about 7:19p.m., members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office were investigating an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle complaint in the Town of Bergen.
After locating the vehicle on Reed road in the Town of Bergen at 8:50p.m., William J. Galliford, 60, of Reed Rd., Bergen, was found to be allegedly operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Galliford also fought with responding deputies during the incident.
He is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle without owners consent, resisting arrest and DWI.
Galliford was released with appearance tickets and is due to appear in Bergen Town Court on August 12, 2020 at 5:00p.m.
