BATAVIA/Osterhout avenue woman facing prostitution charges

Suzanne M. Corona, 51, of Osterhout Ave., Batavia, is charged with promoting prostitution 4th, advance or profits from prostitution, a class A misdemeanor, and permitting prostitution on a premises at her residence, a class B misdemeanor, on August 19, 2020 at 2:00a.m.

Corona allegedly permitted prostitution to occur at her residence and agreed in advance upon a fee for another person to engage in sexual activity while at said location.

Corona was processed and released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on November 17, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

The case is being investigated by Officer Arick Perkins.

In 2015 Corona was sentenced to 1 1/2 years in State Prison after pleading guilty to one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, after selling suboxone to an undercover agent.

In 2010 she was charged with adultery for having sex in public and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of public lewdness.
