A wanted fugitive from the State of Kentucky was apprehended following a traffic stop on Wethersfield Road in the Town of Wethersfield on September 12, 2020.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies learned the fugitive, Jeffery S. Thompson, 32, of Wethersfield, was residing in the hamlet of Wethersfield Springs.
Thompson was wanted on a nationwide warrant as a parole absconder from the State of Kentucky following a felony conviction for weapon possession.
Deputies conducted surveillance of the residence and were able to identify Thompson as the driver of a vehicle leaving the residence. A traffic stop was conducted, and Thompson was taken into custody without incident. Thompson was also found to be driving with switched plates, no registration, no inspection, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
Thompson was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he was arraigned virtually in front of a Warsaw Town Judge.
Thompson was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail to await extradition to Kentucky. Thompson was also issued traffic citations returnable to Wethersfield Court at a later date for the offenses of unlicensed operation, operating without insurance, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, and switched plates.
Members of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force arrested and charged a Warsaw man with selling and possessing drugs following a joint investigation with members of the Warsaw Police Department on September 9, 2020.
Timothy Regan, 53, of Genesee St., Warsaw, is charged with criminal sale of marijuana 3rd and criminal possession of marijuana 2nd. Regan is accused of selling marijuana out of his apartment to an agent of the drug task force.
On September 9, 2020, Task Force Agents and members of the Warsaw Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence which yielded almost six pounds of high grade marijuana, over $25,000.00 in cash along with other drug paraphernalia.
Regan will answer to the charges in Warsaw Court at a later date.
The Wyoming County Drug Task Force consists of members from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, Arcade, Attica, and Warsaw Police Departments.

Shaunna M. Flint, 36, of Pike, was arrested following the report of a female slumped over at the wheel of her car in a business parking lot on Route 19A in the Town of Castile on September 10, 2020.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report and located Flint in the driver seat of her vehicle, which was running, and Flint was unresponsive.
Attempts to wake Flint were successful, and she was then asked to perform field sobriety tests. Flint was then taken into custody following the field sobriety testing, and was allegedly also found to be in possession of several clonazepam pills which were not prescribed to her.
Flint refused to cooperate with further evaluation.
A blood and urine draw was completed at the Wyoming County Community Hospital, and Flint was then processed at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
Flint is charged with DWAI/drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. Flint was issued an appearance ticket and then released to a third party. She is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Castile Court on September 28, 2020.
Ryan P. McCutcheon, 32, of Strykersville, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 78 in the Town of Sheldon on September 14, 2020.
McCutcheon was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for traffic infractions, and was taken into custody after it was found he was wanted for failure to appear in court in Cheektowaga, NY.
McCutcheon was transported to East Aurora, NY where he was turned over to the Cheektowaga Police Department.
