Alva C. Rinker, Jr., 31, of Caneadea, NY, was arrested and faces multiple charges following a traffic stop on Truesdell Road in the Town of Warsaw on September 24, 2020.
Rinker, who was staying at a residence in the Village of Warsaw, was driving a 2004 Nissan pickup truck, color white, southbound on Liberty Street in the Village of Warsaw.
Rinker was known to operate the vehicle and to have a suspended NYS identification card, and when Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies turned around to pursue Rinker, he increased in speed, fleeing southbound onto Truesdell Road.
Rinker pulled his vehicle into an unfamiliar residence on Truesdell Road, abruptly parked his vehicle, and fled on foot into a corn field. A search of the area led to Rinker being apprehended by a New York State Trooper as Rinker was running north on South Main Street in the Village of Warsaw.
Rinker is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlicensed operation, and inadequate muffler.
Rinker was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 5, 2020.
Dain O. Kilian, 37, of Warsaw, was arrested on September 24, 2020, following a September 14, 2020 shoplifting complaint at the Wal-Mart Store in the Town of Warsaw.
Kilian was alleged to have entered the store, concealing stolen lithium batteries and cold packs, and then exited the store without paying for the items.
The incident was captured on in store video which was turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
Kilian was arrested at the Wyoming County Jail on September 24, 2020 while he was incarcerated for a separate incident. He is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material 2nd.
Kilian was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 5, 2020.
