WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Warsaw woman on felony probation, allegedly found with hallucinogenic mushrooms in traffic stop

Kari J. Irvine (alias Kari J. Herbert), 33 of Warsaw, was arrested following a traffic stop on Smallwood Road in the Town of Warsaw on September 25, 2020.

Irvine, who currently is on felony probation following a 2019 conviction for felony conspiracy 4th, was stopped on Smallwood Road for several traffic infractions.

During a roadside investigation, Irvine was found to allegedly be in possession of a plastic sandwich bag containing multiple psilocybin mushrooms, a schedule 1 hallucinogenic controlled substance.

Irvine’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and she was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, driver’s view obstructed, and inadequate plate lamps.

Irvine was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 5, 2020.

Madison K. Moon, 20, of Bath, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 63 in the Town of Covington on September 28, 2020.

Moon was stopped for following too closely and failing to signal lane changes multiple times while passing. Moon was allegedly found in possession of marijuana, a marihuana smoking bowl, and alcohol while being under the age of 21.

Moon failed field sobriety testing at which time she was taken into custody, and her vehicle was towed from the scene. Moon was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. She was found to be impaired by drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Moon is charged with DWAI/drugs, following too closely, no signal, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21.

Moon was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Covington Court on October 12, 2020.

On September 19, 2020, a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling westbound on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw, when a white GMC pickup truck was observed traveling westbound in front of the deputy.

A random data check showed the vehicle’s inspection had expired on January 31, 2020 and a vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Blackhouse Road.

Following a roadside investigation, Christopher Reid , 24, of Warsaw, was arrested and charged with displaying a forged inspection and uninspected motor vehicle. Reid was processed roadside and released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to the Warsaw Town Court at a later date.

Jennifer A. Irish, 38, formerly of Warsaw, NY and now of Buffalo, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant pursuant to an April 3, 2020 traffic stop.

The traffic stop had taken place on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw, where Irish was found to have been allegedly driving on a revoked driver’s license from multiple previous convictions for driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Irish was released from the scene and not charged initially due to COVID-19 concerns.

A warrant was issued for Irish’s arrest on July 13, 2020 after Irish failed to cooperate with turning herself in.

On September 22, 2020 Irish was apprehended on a traffic stop in the City of Buffalo by the Buffalo Police Department. Irish was taken into custody by Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies and taken to the Wyoming County Courthouse. Irish was arraigned in front of Justice Mohun and released with a return date in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 5, 2020.

Leah E. McCabe, 41, of Alexander, was arrested following a shoplifting complaint at Tops Friendly Markets in the Town of Warsaw on September 22, 2020.

McCabe was captured on in store video on September 22, 2020 pushing out a shopping cart full of merchandise without purchasing the items or making any attempt to.

The value of merchandise stolen was $338.78.

On September 28, 2020 McCabe was located at her residence in the Town of Alexander where she was arrested for petit larceny. McCabe then drove herself to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

McCabe was issued a trespass notice banning her from all Tops Friendly Markets locations, and was then issued an appearance ticket scheduling her to answer the charge in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 5, 2020
