According to the Genesee County Sheriff, much of the aircraft has been recovered by local first responders and investigators.
Sheriff Sheron says most of the work is being done in the crater impact area about 10 feet deep into the ground.
The water table is very high and investigators are having to pump water from the area as they complete their work. Sheriff Sheron says they hope to have the remaining parts of the plane recovered in the next two days.
According to Genesee County Coroner Jeff McIntire, they have found some human remains today. The Sheriff says they are confident they are the remains of Steven and Elizabeth Barnes.
