GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man held on a Parole detainer after being arrested in a domestic incident

Michael E. Weichman, 25, of Pratt Rd., Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief 4th, after a domestic incident on November 19, 2020 in Batavia.

Weichman was arraigned virtually at the Genesee County Jail by Judge Graber out of Darien Town Court.

A NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Parole detainer was placed on Weichman and he remains incarcerated at the Genesee County Jail.

The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Alonzo C. Williams, 44, of Watson St., Batavia, after an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine in and around the City of Batavia.

Williams is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies.

Williams allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force. Williams, who had an active arrest warrant, was located driving on North street in the City of Batavia, where he was taken into custody.

He was arraigned in Genesee County Court by Judge Zambito and was released on recognizance.

Task Force members were assisted by uniformed Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies, Batavia Police and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
