PRESS RELEASE
On January 3, 2021 at 8:34 p.m., Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Thomas P. Beilein, 44, of Bennington, for DWI, aggravated DWI, unlicensed operation, deposited refuse on the highway and unauthorized sticker.
Troopers stopped Beilein on Route 354 in the Town of Cowlesville, NY for impeding traffic and throwing an item out of the window, causing embers to spark on the roadway.
Troopers detected a strong odor of alcohol beverage emanating from Beilein. Beilein was placed under arrest for failing multiple field sobriety tests and was transported to SP Warsaw for processing. He recorded a .22% BAC.
Beilein was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Bennington court in March 2021.
